Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources professional to lead our HR function. This is a key leadership role that will focus on recruitment, employee wellbeing, compliance and development.
This position requires 3 days onsite work in Tullamore and 2 days remote work. Regular travel to other service locations will be required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage recruitment processes in accordance with Tusla and Children First standards
* Acknowledge Data Protection Officer (DPO) duties ensuring GDPR-compliant data handling
* Provide HR guidance to centre managers addressing performance, grievance and disciplinary issues fairly and transparently
* Act as a visible presence across centres promoting staff welfare and inclusion initiatives
* Maintain the Training Matrix overseeing mandatory training and certification renewals
* Develop and implement HR policies aligning with employment law and regulatory frameworks
* Coordinate employee setup, updates and benefit administration with payroll and finance teams
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Employment Law or related field
* At least 3 years of experience in HR ideally within regulated care, non-profit or healthcare environments
* Strong understanding of Irish employment law, GDPR and best practices in HR
* Experience covering full employee lifecycle from recruitment to retention and development
* Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
* Fully clean driving licence with willingness to travel regularly
