Finance Analyst – Business Unit Finance, Contractor
Location: Ringaskiddy, Cork
Working mode: Hybrid (3 days on-site and 2 WFH)
Duration: 12 months
Hours: Full-time, 39 hours per week

This exciting Finance Analyst role offers a fantastic opportunity to support a large and dynamic J&J Innovative Medicine biopharmaceutical manufacturing plant. This role offers the opportunity to work and collaborate with multiple stakeholders within Supply Chain and the broader finance organization. Individuals are needed who thrive in a fast-paced environment, have strong analytical skills and interpersonal skills.
Roles and responsibilities
Finance business partnering for the following onsite functions, GET (Project Execution, Maintenance & Automation), Planning, Operational Excellence, Training and EH&S to deliver on financial commitments and develop relationships to become a trusted finance business partner. Preparing detailed analytics to provide insights & deliver performance.
Management & co-ordination of Intercompany recharges for Global headcount/activities on site.
Capital Investment Support, including support for Capital Funding requests, Fixed Asset Physical Verification, Co-Ordination of Capitalizations, Capital Month End/Quarter End deliverables while ensuring compliance remains a key consideration.
Backup for consolidation of Total Site Spend Reporting utilizing and enhancing current processes and automation tools (including AFO & Co-Pilot)
Developing continuous improvement activities to enhance financial reporting/business planning processes (including developing automated solutions) and to aid decision-making processes.
Implementing the Johnson and Johnson finance Digital Transformation at a site level, responsibility for key modules within the Anaplan Forecasting tool.
Adhering to compliance Corporate Accounting Procedures and Approval Guidelines
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Qualified ACCA, ACA or CIMA accountant
A minimum of 2-4 years finance experience
Strong financial analysis skills and the ability to quickly adapt to new systems and tools.
Strong Excel skills
Experience in a complex multi-national environment
Experience with SAP and Business Intelligence tools
Results driven with a strong ownership and accountability for deliverables.
Strong organization skills and an aptitude for planning.
Demonstrated ability to be flexible and respond effectively to changing priorities and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Accuracy with attention to detail.
A proactive, energetic and enthusiastic approach.
The ability to build effective and collaborative relationships both with team members and business partners.
Must be a self-starter, have attention to detail, possess strong prioritization and organization skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple deliverables.
Analytical skills help to understand difficult issues and related business needs, with the ability to convey these to others to help understand complex transactions or to realize business value.
Very strong interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills, with an ability to communicate clearly and appropriately in both written & oral forms.
