The successful dietitian will work as part of a team of dietitians providing and developing the clinical nutrition service across Scoliosis surgery, spinal surgery, spinal injuries, and orthopaedics including trauma related surgery; Trauma related: plastic surgery, neurosurgery, and acquired brain injury and post critical care surgical and non surgical trauma patients as the trauma centre work develops at the Mater Hospital.
Wound and tissue viability related nutrition support- non healing wounds, amputees, wound infection, and pressure ulcers as well as Nutrition support in acute rehabilitation, and older person rehabilitation.
The exact area of work for the new dietitian will be discussed at the job offer phase of the recruitment process.
There will be periodic rotation available within this senior dietitian team.
