About the Opportunity
This leading international specialist is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its team in Galway. The successful candidate will oversee the financial, contractual, and commercial aspects of civil, structural, and architectural packages on large-scale projects.
* Skilled at budgeting, reporting, developing bill of quantities and profit plans.
* Undertake and manage interim commercial meetings with the Client and Internal Project Team.
* Manage subcontractor accounts, interim valuations, and final accounts.
The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for costing and agreeing daily work changes, including managing subcontractor remeasurement of contract works, site dayworks, and site change orders.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in managing large-scale projects. They will be capable of working independently, with a high level of autonomy, while also being a team player.
* Develop and maintain project budgets and forecasts.

The successful Quantity Surveyor will be highly organized, with excellent time management and prioritization skills. They will be able to work effectively under pressure, meeting deadlines and delivering results.
