Project Manager Position Overview
The role of the Project Manager involves managing end-to-end delivery of water and wastewater projects from design to completion.
* Develop designs, drawings, reports, and technical calculations.
* Ensure compliance with project contracts, specifications, and quality standards.
* Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors.
* Prepare technical submissions, reports, and contract programs.
* Monitor project progress, budgets, and resource schedules.
* Oversee site works, including supervision of crews and subcontractors.
* Coordinate site surveys and work packages.
* Maintain Health & Safety compliance, including Safety Files and audits.
* Manage documentation, drawing updates, and change order logs.
* Compile O&M manuals and ensure full project close-out.
Key Requirements
* 7+ years' experience in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering in a Project Engineering role.
* Knowledge and experience of the water and wastewater industry preferred.
* Working knowledge of AutoCAD and capability to update drawings for construction and coordinate between vendors and contractors.
* Knowledge and experience of plant design, construction, and commissioning.
* Experience of managing contractors and subcontractors for the delivery of projects.
* Strong technical, delivery, and commercial skills.
