Quantity Surveyor - Dublin Our client, a leading construction firm, is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding team in Dublin. This is a key role in the commercial management of major construction projects, offering exposure to complex builds and career development in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities: Support the senior project team in procuring subcontract packages and critical work elements. Prepare quantified work packages, ITTs, and budgets based on technical documentation. Analyse tender returns and contribute to subcontractor selection. Draft and agree subcontract documents. Manage multiple subcontract packages from order to final account, including variations, claims, and monthly valuations. Continuously monitor project costs, financial performance, and entitlements. Engage with clients, subcontractors, designers, and internal stakeholders. Ensure timely and accurate submission of commercial documentation. Prepare and agree external valuations and negotiate final accounts. Deliver regular cost/value and cash flow reports. Support and mentor junior members of the commercial team. Specific Requirements: Relevant degree with 5+ years' experience in a Quantity Surveying or Commercial role. In-depth knowledge of building construction and construction processes. Familiarity with different methods of measurement. Strong analytical, negotiation, and budgeting skills. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong working relationships. Experience with CostX, Buildsoft, or similar software is an advantage. Data Centre experience desirable but not essential.
