Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Dublin. As a key member of our consultancy, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on construction costs and project management.
Your primary duties will include:
* Preparing estimates and cost plans for various retail, commercial, educational, and residential developments using advanced software.
* Preparing standard documentation – reports, valuations, letters, and financial reports.
* Analyzing tenders and preparing tender reports at all stages of procurement.
* Preparing valuations and cost reports; re-measuring as necessary and adjusting variations.
* Assisting in the settlement of construction disputes/loss and expense claims.
* Preparing and agreeing final accounts.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* 1+ years post-graduate experience in a professional consultancy.
* Chartered status (desirable).
* Pre- and post-contract experience.
* Excellent IT skills.
* Excellent communication skills.
* BSc essential in a construction-related discipline.
