Project Manager Role
About This Position:
We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee challenging civil projects in the water sector.
* To manage all aspects of build-only or design-and-build contracts for public and private clients, a wide range of works will be undertaken to develop and maintain company standing as a main contractor in the water and wastewater sector in the Midlands.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Management of a project team including design staff, project staff, sub-contractors and support staff
2. Support senior management in delivering contract objectives to client goals and objectives
3. Responsibility for project management, project control, engineering management, and construction.
4. Management and liaison with internal and external design teams in a multi-disciplinary environment, providing commercial and technical guidance.
5. Effectively maintain and develop healthy client and stakeholder relationships throughout the project from commencement to project close-out
6. Proactively resolve performance, scope, cost and schedule issues,
7. In-depth programme planning and scheduling of project deliverables and the development of resource-loaded schedules for design and contract administration services
8. Drive consistent implementation of health, safety, quality and environmental procedures to client-defined standards across all contracts.
9. Prepare accurate and timely preparation of ongoing status reports to our clients and management
10. Consistently deliver on each project to achieve financial performance and all aspects of overall project delivery (quality control, risk management, and profitability)
