Retail Sales Assistant Store Manager
Our client is a busy Retail Clothing brand in Ireland with vacancies in their ILAC Shopping Centre, Dublin City Centre store.
The role will involve assisting the Store Manager with the following:
1. Supervise, train and assist employees in customer service, store maintenance, and product promotions.
2. Develop and maintain a schedule for employees and promotions centred on holiday sales and other cycles.
3. Seek ways to better promote the store, the product line, and service within the store.
4. Maintain proper inventory levels, ensure stocking, implement purchasing plans, and maintain contact with suppliers to ensure maximum efficiency in meeting sales goals.
5. Implement cross-training of employees and Assistant Managers to maintain productivity at all times.
6. Manage all controllable costs with a view to maintaining profitability.
7. Ensure the store remains clean and presentable at all times.
8. Hire and train as needed to ensure adequate personnel is on hand to provide outstanding customer service.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
9. Good knowledge of the company and the brand they are applying for.
10. Experience working in a fast-paced retail sales operation.
11. Passion for fashion, market, competitors, and trend awareness.
12. Knows how to drive sales and can provide examples.
13. Has led a stable and consistent career.
14. Evidence of leadership skills.
