Senior Investment Manager

Role Overview
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Investment Manager to join the Future Ireland Funds team. This senior role operates within a high‑performing investment environment and offers broad exposure across public and private markets. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping investment strategy, overseeing portfolio construction, and managing manager selection, performance, and risk monitoring. The role is suited to an experienced investment professional with strong private markets expertise and a background in institutional investing.
Key Responsibilities
Support the development and implementation of private markets and total portfolio investment strategy
Oversee portfolio construction across public and private market assets
Lead manager selection processes and execution of investment mandates, including LPAs and related documentation
Monitor portfolio performance, risk, valuations, and reporting outputs
Oversee capital calls, distributions, cashflow forecasting, and broader portfolio operations
Conduct detailed investment analysis across private market opportunities and external managers
Engage with internal stakeholders, governance forums, and external investment partners
Contribute to continuous improvement of investment processes and team capability
Experience
10+ years’ experience in investment management, fund management, or institutional investing
Strong background in portfolio construction and asset allocation
Proven experience in private markets manager selection and execution
Strong understanding of LP structures, LPAs, and fund documentation
Experience in investment monitoring, performance, and risk analysis
Exposure to private equity, private credit, infrastructure, and/or real estate
Public markets experience advantageous
