Key Responsibilities: Provide professional and managerial support and leadership within the nursing home.
Serve as a positive and visible role model, promoting high standards of care.
Offer effective clinical and professional leadership aligned with the organisation's values.
Provide line management and support the development of clinical nursing and care teams.
Contribute to the delivery of exceptional care through resident and staff engagement, clinical supervision, and accountability.
Develop innovative approaches to guide and mentor nursing teams, fostering leadership skills and supporting succession planning.
Deputise for the Director of Nursing as needed.
Assist in identifying service needs and developing plans in collaboration with the Director of Nursing and management.
Ensure the efficient and appropriate use of resources.
Undertake other duties as required.

What We Are Looking For: Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
Demonstrable nursing management experience within an elder care setting.
A post-registration management qualification in health or a related field is advantageous.
Comprehensive understanding of relevant regulatory standards and governance within a nursing home environment.
Proven management experience with a strong track record.
Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
Ability to foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
Sound decision-making abilities and a results-oriented approach.
Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of the organisation.
A qualification or experience in Gerontology and/or Dementia is desirable.
