Reservations Manager Commencing: April **** Omos means homage, duty, and respect In Summer ****, we're opening Omos - a 16-bedroom Guesthouse and 40-seat Restaurant set on 4.2 acres just outside the heritage town of Abbeyleix, County Laois.

As we prepare for our opening in July, we are now seeking to recruit an experienced Reservations Manager.
The Person In joining Omos, our Reservation Manager, will take their place amongst our newly built team and report directly to our General Manager.
Our Reservation Manager will coordinate our sales and guest relations, and will also support our operational activities.
This role will be important in ensuring our guests receive an exceptional experience delivered in a seamless way, whilst maximising the property's revenue strategy.
Therefore, a proven track record in collaboration, driving sales, and analytics is required.
Experience in a luxury property, such as a 5-star hotel or luxury guesthouse is a must.
Excellent written and verbal communication is very important.
A person who enjoys detail and driving performance and excellence will thrive in this role!

We can offer you; A 4-day work week with Sundays and Mondays off A generous salary and benefits An amazing daily staff meal and excellent coffee A high-standard, custom-built space with natural light and premium LED lighting (front and back of house) A dedicated staff lounge with a kitchen and views of the market garden A culture grounded in respect, kindness and professionalism A project surrounded by nature, celebrating Irish craft and contemporary design Regular guest speakers and collaborative events Key Responsibilities Oversee all reservation activities across phone, email, website, and online travel agencies (OTAs) Manage guest room allocations to maximise guest experience and occupancy Ensure accurate reservation data within the Property Management System (PMS) Handle booking confirmations, pre-arrival communication, and guest follow-up Process cancellations, amendments, group or multi-room bookings, and special requests.
Revenue Yield Management Monitor occupancy, forecast demand, and adjust rates or restrictions to maximise revenue.
With the General Manager, Implement pricing strategies across the property Analyse pickup reports, occupancy trends, and daily pacing to refine booking strategies In collaboration with Marketing/ Business Development partner, develop and coordinate promotions or packages and communication strategy for same OTA Channel Management Maintain accurate room availability, pricing, and content across all online channels Ensure listings (photos, descriptions, amenities) reflect luxury standards and brand positioning Monitor OTA performance and commission costs; adjust strategies for profitability.
Respond to online inquiries and manage guest messaging via OTA dashboards.
Guest Experience Pre-Arrival Coordination Deliver personalised pre-arrival communication to enhance guest experience Collect and note guest preferences: dietary needs, celebration requests, room preferences, etc.
Coordinate with accommodation/ housekeeping, reception, and management to ensure rooms and services meet expectations Arrange special touches-welcome amenities, restaurant bookings, transport, or bespoke experiences.
Resolve reservation-related queries quickly and professionally Communication and Internal Coordination Liaise daily with reception and housekeeping to ensure seamless room readiness Share arrival lists, notes, early check-in requests, and stay details with relevant departments Provide clear operational updates during morning briefings or handovers Supporting Operations Support reception and operations when needed.
Assist with check-ins or guest interactions when required
