Auxilia Group Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Port Operations Manager on behalf of our client company operating in the shipping and logistics industry.
This is a permanent opportunity based in Cork.
Role
Responsible for the safe, efficient, and cost-effective day-to-day operation of port activities.
Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily port operations.
Ensure full compliance with port safety, ISPS, health & safety, and environmental regulations.
Lead, manage, and motivate operational teams and shift personnel.
Manage rosters, training, performance, and discipline in line with company policies.
Oversee third-party contractors and service providers.
Manage operational budgets and control costs.
Requirements
Experience of port operations would be an advantage.
Strong operational leadership and people management experience.
Excellent understanding of health & safety practices and regulatory compliance.
Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
