As a busy fitness studio based in Dublin 15 beside the M50, we are now seeking to
recruit an additional fixed term part time Fitness Instructor to help us fulfil requests
from our clients for additional classes.
Our ethos ensures our clients are encouraged to focus on gaining strength and
fitness in a supportive and kind environment. They really appreciate that
Candidates must have a upbeat attitude and positively contribute to our engaging atmosphere. You must also have a Fitness Instructor Qualification and be a Certified
experienced Spin Instructor. Pump and Tone/Body Pump experience would be a
distinct advantage. They must be available for weekend and evening shifts.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Opening and closing the studio on a rota basis
2. Planning classes in advance
3. Delivering high energy group fitness classes
4. Setting up and taking down equipment before and after classes.
5. Monitoring clients closely and adapting exercises where necessary.
6. Ensuring all clients have correct posture and proper form.
7. Ensuring the equipment and studio is clean and safe e.g. that the floor is dry etc.
8. General housekeeping duties.
9. Follow all standard operating procedures.
The successful candidate will:
1. Have Irish recognised qualifications.
2. Be fluent in spoken English.
3. Be hardworking, professional, reliable, and helpful.
4. Have the ability to thrive as part of a team which values enthusiasm.
5. Be willing to learn whilst teaching.
6. Have a sense of humour and a joy in helping people become strong, lean and
healthy.
You will be mentored and assisted by Studio Owner Eoin Halligan initially. Eoin has
much experience in the fitness industry, and he will ensure you have all the
information and assistance you need to help you settle down quickly. But he is
always available for further advice if the occasion arises.
Job Type: Part Time Permanent
Salary: €14.00 To €16.00 per hour depending on experience
No. of Hours: Flexible. To be agreed at interview
