If you love cooking with heart, understand dietary needs, and take pride in creating comforting dishes that make people feel at home, we'd love to hear from you.Duties:Plan, prepare, and cook daily meals in accordance with dietary plans and nutritional guidelines.Ensure all meals are served on time and presented attractively.Accommodate specific dietary needs, including allergies, medical conditions, and special diets.Ensure compliance with the Company Food Safety Management System and maintain a safe kitchen.Manage inventory, order supplies, and monitor stock levels.Record and document food temperatures, cleaning schedules, and dietary complianceSupport with menu planning, incorporating residents' preferences and nutritional needs.Assist with kitchen cleaning, waste disposal, and equipment maintenance.Work collaboratively with care staff to ensure residents' dietary requirements are met.Promote a positive dining experience for residents.RequirementsProven experience as a Chef or Cook, ideally in a care home, healthcare, or similar settingKnowledge of nutrition, dietary requirements, and food safety standardsAbility to prepare wholesome, balanced meals suitable for elderly or vulnerable residentsExcellent organizational and time management skillsGood communication and teamwork abilitiesFriendly, caring, and attentive to residents' needsFlexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.Essential RequirementsTrained in Puree and Allergen ManagementProfessional Chef qualification and relevant experienceFamiliarity with IDDSI standardsExperience preparing modified dietsHold a valid Food Hygiene CertificateAwareness of hazard reporting proceduresExperience maintaining HACCP documentationBenefitsFree ParkingRequirementsPrevious kitchen or food service experience.
