You’ll work closely with the owner of the business, drawing on his wealth of experience.You’ll lead the farming team of 6 permanent staff, plus seasonal workers (up to 75 at peak). The team is a mixture of experienced people, and junior people. You’ll get to work with the junior team to develop their skills and pass on your knowledge.Your core focus is growing high-quality crops efficiently. You’ll be supporting in the crop production plan, and responsible for getting it done. From land sourcing and planning, to sourcing raw materials, to managing the machinery.Successful candidates should have a background in vegetable cropping and understand the intensity of the operation. You might not have experience in lettuce and carrots, but if you’re happy to learn, they’re happy to train.Arable backgrounds?
