Job Title: 3pl Operations Assistant Manager
We are seeking an experienced and driven Transport Operations Coordinator to support and optimise our busy transport and logistics operations.
About the Role:
* To assist in the day-to-day running of a fast-paced 3 PL transport office, overseeing routing and scheduling for a varied fleet, including artics, rigids, and vans.
* Liaising with clients, drivers, and warehouse staff to ensure delivery standards are met and service levels are maintained.
* Maintaining accurate records of vehicle usage, delivery schedules and incident reports. To train junior team members on operational procedures;
* To implement strategies that reduce cost while improving service delivery through monitoring fleet performance or driver hours regulations compliance standards when conducting routine inspections at regular intervals prior every shift changeover time - these tasks must align closely towards ensuring optimal efficiency without compromising overall work environment!
