Job Title: Assistant Director of Nursing
This is a key leadership role in our nursing home group, where you will be responsible for overseeing the management of our nursing teams and ensuring high standards of patient care.
The ideal candidate will have experience in managing teams in an elder care setting, with a strong understanding of HIQA standards, regulations, and governance. They will also have excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills, as well as the ability to promote a team environment and make sound decisions.
We are looking for someone who is flexible, adaptable and willing to go above and beyond to provide exceptional care to our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the management of nursing teams across our homes
- Ensure compliance with HIQA standards, regulations and governance
- Lead by example, promoting a positive and supportive work culture
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and staff satisfaction
Requirements:
- NMBI Registered Nurse qualification
- Experience in managing teams in an elder care setting
- Post-registration Management qualification in health or a related field
- Thorough knowledge of HIQA standards, regulations and governance
- Proven track record in management
- Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills
