Key Responsibilities Lead the commercial function in Ireland, overseeing sales, business development, and customer service activities.
Develop and execute strategies to grow market share and profitability across ocean freight and logistics solutions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, freight forwarders, and key stakeholders.
Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and trade lane dynamics to inform commercial decisions.
Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements in line with company policies and market conditions.
Collaborate with regional and global teams to ensure consistent service delivery and alignment of commercial objectives.
Monitor performance metrics, revenue targets, and customer satisfaction levels, implementing corrective actions where needed.
Provide leadership and guidance to the commercial team, ensuring professional development and a high-performance culture.
Requirements Proven experience in a senior commercial, sales, or business development role within shipping, logistics, or freight forwarding.
Strong understanding of container shipping operations, trade lanes, and customer requirements.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
Ability to analyse data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
Commercially driven with a track record of delivering revenue growth and profitability.
Strong leadership abilities with experience managing and developing teams.
