Job Description
We are seeking a responsible, enthusiastic individual to support our breakfast club and afterschool program. The Breakfast club assistant will ensure a healthy breakfast snack is prepared for the child in the mornings and organise activities before school starts, then ensuring that they are ready to be taken to their classrooms at the appropriate times. The Afterschool Program Assistant will help supervise children, assist with homework, organise activities, and ensure a safe, positive environment.
Working times are as follows 8:20 a.m.-9:20 a.m. and afternoons are 2:00 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Qualifications Required
fetac childcare level 5 but not esstential, (preferably as their will be a coinciding preschool)
3 years experience working with children aged 4-12 years
Abilty to work as part of a team
Kindness, warmth and responsiveness to the needs of children
Good communication and realting skills with children, staff and parents
Have a sense of humour
Knowledge of relveant legisation and regulation
Experience Required
3 years experience working with children preferred but not essential as training will be given
