Reservations Supervisor
Responsibilities
* Ensure all bookings, reservation documentation and filing are completed.
* Manage all rates on the various booking channels, yielding rates effectively.
* Handle all guest inquiries efficiently and professionally at all times.
* Take reservation calls for bedrooms and divert all inquiries to relevant departments.
* Act as a salesperson for the hotel by up‑selling and recommending facilities, and developing rapport with clients.
* Communicate and liaise with all hotel departments in a timely and effective manner.
* Handle all guest concerns relevant to the Reservations Office to the satisfaction of all parties.
* Deal with group bookings from booking stage to departure.
* Proactively sell bedrooms at the best rate possible, ensuring that all opportunities to achieve upsell (e.g., upgrades, dinner, activities) are maximized.
* Possess thorough knowledge and understanding of all standards of performance and delivery within the Rooms Management department.
* Assist the Revenue Manager when required and manage the department while the Revenue Manager is on annual leave.
* Train new team members on all departmental Standards Operating Procedures.
* Provide new team members with guidance, advice, feedback, and support.
Qualifications
* Knowledge of Hotsoft and previous experience is a distinct advantage.
