Mapping Audit Contractor (10–12 Weeks, Galway)
Electronic Arts is seeking a temporary Web Strategy Contractor to handle work focused on
verifying and correcting mappings between Help systems. They will be dedicated to
conducting manual verification, documenting issues, requesting fixes, and validating
corrections. This project requires a detail-oriented contractor to perform audits, maintain
progress trackers, and produce final validation reports confirming accuracy.
The engagement will run approximately 10–12 weeks (mid-November through February,
remote) and will report to the Sr. Channel Strategist. The ideal candidate has experience in
data validation, content QA, or web operations, strong Excel/Google Sheets skills, and the
ability to manage large datasets with precision. Familiarity with Help, Config App, or
similar CMS/support tools is a plus.
Primary Responsibilities
* Audit The Experience Atlas (TEA) article mappings against the live Help site to
ensure accuracy and completeness.
* Identify incorrect, missing, or outdated solution links and document all mismatches
clearly.
* Submit weekly fix requests to the Config team, tracking completion and progress.
* Perform revalidation of mappings after fixes are implemented, confirming
resolution.
* Maintain detailed tracking of all audit activities, findings, and resolutions in shared
documentation.
* Partner with the Sr. Channel Strategist and Config contacts to ensure audit
consistency and accuracy.
* Deliver a final summary report outlining results, issues, and recommendations for
future audits.
Additional Responsibilities
* Conduct spot-checks in localized versions (top three languages) to confirm
consistency across translations.
* Support QA/QV efforts for related Connect Flow initiatives.
* Identify recurring mapping issues and propose process or tooling improvements.
* Participate in weekly syncs to review progress, blockers, and upcoming validation
batches.
Skills and Experience
* Proven experience in data validation, content auditing, or quality assurance work
(preferably within a digital or web environment).
* High attention to detail with the ability to track and manage large datasets
accurately.
* Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets (filtering, conditional formatting, data
cleanup).
* Comfort with comparing and analyzing structured data (e.g., URLs, metadata,
content tags).
* Excellent written communication skills for documenting mismatches and reporting
progress.
* Ability to work independently while maintaining alignment with multiple stakeholder
teams.
* Familiarity with Help, Config App, or other internal publishing tools.
* Experience using AI-assisted comparison tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Excel formulas, or
scripting) to identify discrepancies.
* Basic understanding of localization or multilingual content workflows.
* Prior experience in web operations, CMS management, or support platform content
(e.g., Zendesk, Salesforce, or similar).
