JO-- Project Engineer – 12-Month FTC Location: Wexford We are hiring a Project Engineer to join a leading global medical technology company.
This role supports the introduction and manufacturing of new products, from development through to full-scale production.
You will lead engineering projects, support New Product Introduction (NPI), and drive process improvements while ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
Working cross-functionally, you will play a key role in delivering projects on time, within budget, and to a high standard.

Role Lead engineering projects from concept to production Support NPI activities including equipment installation, validation, and ramp-up Develop and optimise manufacturing processes Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners Troubleshoot technical issues and drive data-led solutions Maintain project documentation and ensure regulatory compliance Monitor timelines, risks, and project performance Support continuous improvement initiatives and mentor junior engineers Requirements Degree in Engineering or related field 3+ years' experience in project engineering or similar role Experience delivering engineering projects in manufacturing/tech environments Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies (e.g., MS Project, Jira) Strong problem-solving and communication skills CAD experience (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) desirable PMP certification an advantage
