The role of the Healthcare Access Specialist is to provide seamless access to healthcare services for patients. This involves operating within an integrated team environment, ensuring the efficient flow of patient information and promoting a positive experience for all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage patient records, including preparation of test results as required by clinical teams.
* Ensure safe storage and secure management of sensitive patient information.
* Provide exceptional customer service, responding to queries and addressing concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate administrative tasks and ensure smooth operations.
* Support the maintenance of accurate patient data, including updates to IPIMs as necessary.
* Greet and assist patients and visitors arriving at the ward, providing a warm and welcoming experience.
To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, knowledge of healthcare systems, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A business or secretarial qualification, along with experience in healthcare administration, is highly desirable.
