Director of Nursing
The Director of Nursing plays a pivotal role in advancing the delivery of high-quality patient care. This challenging and rewarding leadership position demands strong clinical expertise, exceptional management abilities, and a passion for excellence.
As a key member of our team, the Director of Nursing will spearhead efforts to uphold exceptional standards in person-centred care, clinical oversight, and continuous innovation. They will lead daily clinical operations with empathy and professionalism, foster a culture of respect, inclusion, and safety, and drive sustained quality improvement.
To succeed in this role, candidates must possess a Registered General Nurse (RGN) qualification, NMBI registration, and a management qualification in health or a related field. A minimum of 3 years post-graduate experience in Older Person Care within the past 6 years and at least 3 years of management experience in health or social care are also essential.
Responsibilities will include leading and managing daily clinical operations, promoting a culture of respect and inclusion, driving continuous quality improvement, and ensuring full compliance with HIQA regulations. The successful candidate will also oversee risk management, safeguarding, and the implementation of best practices in elder care.
