About the Role
We are seeking a driven
Regional Sales Manager
to lead and inspire our Field Sales team in delivering outstanding sales and marketing results. This role is central to building a motivated, high-performing team and developing future talent, ensuring our field sales function is recognized by customers as best in class—delivering value with every interaction.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and execute sales strategies through your field sales team to achieve commercial goals.
* Deliver and track Key Business Indicators (KBIs) to ensure consistent performance.
* Build a high-performing, customer-centric team through Individual Development Plans, 1:1 coaching, clear objectives, and effective performance management.
* Identify and secure new business opportunities across the sales channel.
* Drive continuous improvement in Field Sales Effectiveness, including sales force structure, route-to-market, and sales automation.
* Develop a highly engaged and motivated team through structured engagement initiatives.
* Manage strategic deployment of assets and promotions, maximizing ROI.
* Gain customer commitment for programs and initiatives that create joint value.
* Apply strong commercial and financial acumen to develop robust business proposals.
* Build effective cross-functional partnerships to optimize customer service, organizational efficiency, and field sales performance.
What We're Looking For
Essential Criteria:
* At least 3 years' experience in a commercial management role, with significant field sales leadership experience.
* Proven track record of building and leading a customer-centric team to deliver challenging KPIs.
* Strong understanding of Route-to-Market principles, with demonstrable success in applying them.
* Excellent financial and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data to inform negotiations and business plans.
* Experience in leading change management, particularly with customer-focused initiatives.
* IT proficient and geographically mobile within ROI.
* Demonstrated leadership in driving commercial projects.
* Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Desired Criteria:
* Degree in a business-related discipline.
* Minimum 2 years' Key Account Management experience.
* Experience in recruiting, coaching, and developing people.
