Stock & Inventory ManagerThe Address Collectiveare seeking a highly organised, detail-focused Stock & Inventory Manager to oversee inventory control and stock counting activities across all properties within the group. This is a commercially critical role within the group, designed not only to control stock but to actively improve margin performance, operational discipline, and financial visibility across all properties.The successful candidate will take ownership of structured stock counts for each property within the month end period, reporting integrity, variance analysis, and work closely with the Procurement Manager and F&B Managers to strengthen stock control disciplines between counts.Key ResponsibilitiesStock Control & Inventory ManagementConduct scheduled full stock takes across all group properties (food, beverage, and relevant non-consumables)Implement a consistent, standardised stock-taking methodology across each siteEnsure accurate valuation of stock in line with group accounting practicesReconcile physical counts against EPOS and purchasing dataIdentify variances, investigate root causes, and provide clear explanationsReporting & Commercial AnalysisProduce clear, concise post-stock reports for senior managementAnalyse gross profit performance by department and highlight risk areasTrack stock movements, transfers, and write-offsIdentify trends in wastage, over-portioning, theft, or purchasing inefficienciesProvide practical, site-specific recommendations following each countOperational Best PracticeWork closely with F&B Managers to improve stock handling, rotation, and storage standardsSupport teams in implementing tighter controls around deliveries, receipting, and supplier returnsIntroduce clear stock management SOPs where requiredTrain department heads on best practice in stock control and margin protectionConduct interim spot checks between formal stock counts where necessaryProcurement & Systems CollaborationLiaise closely with the Procurement Manager to ensure alignment on pricing, supplier consistency, and ordering patternsFlag pricing anomalies or supplier inconsistenciesEnsure correct product coding and categorisation within stock systemsSupport system improvements to enhance reporting accuracyGovernance & ComplianceEnsure all stock procedures are compliant with internal controls and audit requirementsMaintain full transparency and documentation across all sitesProtect margin through disciplined stock governanceCandidate ProfileProven experience in stock control and inventory management within a stocktaking company or multi-site F&B environmentStrong numerical and analytical capability with high attention to detailExperience conducting full physical stock counts independentlyStrong understanding of gross profit mechanics and margin analysisUnderstanding of storage best practice, stock rotation, and temperature-controlled environmentsComfortable working across multiple sites and building strong working relationships with operational teamsCommercially minded, able to challenge constructively and implement improvementsHighly organised, structured, and process-drivenProficient in Excel and stock/EPOS systemsHACCP trained and knowledgeable in food safety procedures (training can be provided on induction if required)Manual handling certified (or willing to complete training on induction)SkillsFlexibilityAttention To DetailStock ControlInventory Management
