Operational Project Engineer
The Role: As an Operational Project Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving efficiency, quality, and striving for operational excellence within our Installation & Projects Department.
Your main function will be to coordinate and support the development of business processes through implementation of continuous improvement projects.
Key Elements of the Role:
* Analyse, improve upon and/or develop installation, projects and other internal business processes, workflows, and systems.
* Develop and manage knowledge and documentation for training.
* Act as a point of contact / key user to support day to day installation and other internal business processes.
* Work with users and coordinate with external departments for purpose of continuous improvement and development.
* Project management and leadership.
* Good levels of communication, both verbal and written, and must be a fluent English speaker and writer.
* Proficient in project planning.
* Drive change management initiatives, to ensure process improvements are effective and adopted.
* Develop and maintain close working relationships, locally within the company and globally within the Maritime division and Liebherr group of companies.
* Develop reports and KPI from available data.
* Maintain a customer focused approach.
* Ensure quality, environmental and Health & Safety standards are always maintained.
* Contribute to Continuous Improvement and Quality Management.
* Occasional travel for short periods locally and internationally for training and project work.
Qualifications and Skills:
* A third level qualification in a relevant field or proven work experience in process improvement, operational excellence, or related roles.
* Experience working in an office environment.
* Preferred more than 2 years in a similar role.
* Process improvement experience.
* Experience working with ERP systems.
