About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the delivery of a large-scale residential development in Cork, consisting of over 100 apartment units. The successful candidate will play a key leadership role, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and supervise all site personnel, subcontractors, and trades.
Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations at all times.
Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resources to meet key milestones.
Liaise with the Project Manager, Quantity Surveyor, and Design Team.
Maintain site records including daily diaries, inductions, and delivery logs.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control and workmanship standards.
Chair site meetings and provide regular progress reports.
Requirements:
Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Site Manager on large-scale residential projects.
Excellent knowledge of Irish building regulations and H&S legislation.
Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
Valid Safe Pass, Manual Handling, and relevant site management certifications.
Degree or diploma in Construction Management or related discipline (preferred).
