Job Title: Territory Manager - Munster

Location: Beacon Limerick (with monthly visits to Beacon Dublin required)

The Territory Manager should be an enthusiastic and knowledgeable individual who will plan, organise and carry out engagement activities with external referrers for Beacon Hospital. Specifically, he/she will interact with GPs and their staff (practice nurses, secretaries) in order to encourage referrals to Beacon, and will respond to and address specific concerns from these practices. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Strategic Projects with the aim of further strengthening relationships with GPs across the Munster region.
Key Responsibilities and Deliverables
* Drive Referrals – in line with hospital business plan and department/consultant availability
* Coordinate and direct interactions of GPs with Beacon Hospital
* Provide weekly feedback reports to highlight significant and relevant issues that may arise
* Configure and maintain CRM software to accurately capture day‑to‑day activity and interactions with GPs and other external referrers
* Support local hospitals/clinics – establish strong relations with key personnel in local hospitals to offer services and urgent transfer of patients
* Align GP requirements with the services of the hospital
* Analyse current referral rates and identify opportunities for business growth
* Ensure that all trends with the GP market are monitored and capitalise on opportunities for increased service delivery
* Maintain clear communications with the Head of Strategic Projects and Head of GP Relations and wider Referrals team, as well as relevant points of contact in the hospital
* Focus and grow referral pathways into Beacon Limerick clinics
* Work collaboratively with the marketing team, including participation in the preparation and delivery of GP study events to maximise GP attendance
* Identify appropriate internal controls that may be required to ensure that referrals are maximised
Leadership Responsibilities
* Responsible for assignment of own time to maximise on deliverables
* Responsible for the direct and indirect promotion of hospital services to the GP market
* Continuously develop and demonstrate leadership ability to act as an effective ambassador for the hospital
* Demonstrate confidence and competence in the promotion of all hospital services
* Effectively record all necessary documentation

* Utilise all practical opportunities to educate GPs on the services available within the hospital

* Maintain effective interdisciplinary communication processes and participate in hospital‑wide communication processes
* Provide effective communication tools to maximise GP referrals
* Demonstrate willingness to assist co‑workers whenever needed
* Ensure that timely communication takes place within a pressured environment
* Demonstrate the ability to delegate tasks and responsibilities where appropriate
Person Specification
Qualification
* Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred. Sciencenas or business degree acceptable with previous healthcare experience
Experience
* Exceptional organisational skills and ability to develop and maintain business relationships
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal, written and presentation), and the ability to exercise a high degree of initiative, judgement and discretion
* Knowledge of Microsoft Excel,τά PowerPoint and Word
* Valid driver's licence
* Sales experience within the GP market preferred
