Role Overview
We are seeking a commercially minded
Senior Brand Manager
with strong
consumer marketing and OTC/consumer healthcare brand experience
.
You will take full ownership of several strategic brands—including high-profile brands such as
E45
and
Tepe
—and lead a small marketing team to drive consumer demand, brand equity and commercial performance.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Strategy & Consumer Marketing
Lead the development and execution of brand strategies across multiple brands, with a strong consumer marketing focus across digital, social, PR, media and retail activation.
Develop compelling consumer value propositions, communication strategies and content that strengthen brand positioning and drive demand.
Ensure all consumer-facing activity builds long-term brand equity while delivering commercial growth.
Team Leadership
Mentor and develop
a Brand Manager and Brand Executive
, providing direction and accountability across all brand activities.
Foster a collaborative, insight-driven, high-performance team culture.
Campaign Development & Execution
Plan and oversee integrated consumer marketing campaigns for our brands, ensuring strong engagement and ROI.
Manage development, digital activation, influencer partnerships, media planning, and brand owner feedback.
Support the Sales Team with consumer-led materials and retailer-specific activations.
Commercial & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner closely with the sales function to identify consumer-led commercial opportunities and ensure excellence in retail execution.
Maintain strong relationships with international brand owners, aligning on strategy, performance and marketing plans.
Work with Supply Chain on forecasting, NPD planning and portfolio management.
Budget & Performance Management
Own and manage brand budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of consumer marketing investment.
Track performance using market data, campaign analytics and consumer insights to optimise ROI.
Deliver regular reporting on brand performance, consumer trends and commercial outcomes.
Skills & Experience Required
Essential
4–7 years' experience in Brand Management
within OTC, consumer healthcare or FMCG, with proven exposure to
consumer marketing
.
Experience managing major consumer healthcare brands (experience with smoking cessation or regulated healthcare brands a plus).
Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing consumer marketing campaigns across digital, social, content, media and PR.
Strong understanding of consumer insights, category trends and shopper behaviour.
Commercially astute with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
Excellent project management, organisational and prioritisation skills.
Experienced in managing agencies across creative, digital, PR and media.
Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
Proficient in Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and analytics/dashboards.
Desirable
Experience working with distributor-led brands or international principals.
Prior people management or mentoring experience.
Familiarity with the Irish and/or UK retail pharmacy and grocery landscapes.
