SK9 are working alongside a fantastic new Engineering firm who are going from strength to strength and are now looking for a dynamic, hands-on process-driven leader with a passion for operational excellence.

You'll be the driving force behind production, quality, and client satisfaction, ensuring every project is delivered on time, in full, and to the highest standard.

What You'll Do
* Lead & Optimise Operations – From order intake to final delivery, ensure smooth, efficient, and profitable workflows.
* Champion Quality – Maintain robust QC systems, drive a "right first time" culture, and keep client satisfaction sky-high.
* Transform Processes – Identify bottlenecks, implement SOPs, and introduce performance metrics that make a measurable impact.
* Inspire Your Team – Coach, mentor, and empower skilled operatives to perform at their very best.
* Build Client Trust – Manage expectations, communicate clearly, and ensure every promise is delivered.
* Ensure Safety & Compliance – Keep operations aligned with health, safety, and legal requirements at all times.
What We're Looking For
* Proven leadership in General Management or Operations within manufacturing, engineering, or a related industry.
* A track record of change management and process improvement in a production environment.
* Strong grasp of quality management systems and workflow optimisation.
* Commercial acumen — skilled in job costing, pricing, and maximising profitability.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels.
* Solid understanding of Health & Safety compliance.
