SummarySeeking a Production Team Leader to manage daily operations, ensure safety and quality compliance, train staff, and drive continuous improvement.The RoleWe are looking for a Production Team Leader to oversee daily operations, ensuring strict Health & Safety and hygiene compliance, monitoring quality and critical control points, managing production schedules, training and mentoring staff, coordinating with other departments, and driving continuous improvement to maintain high operational standards.Rate of Pay: €16.01 per/hourYour Key ResponsibilitiesImplement and monitor Health & Safety and hygiene policies, ensuring PPE compliance and reporting quality defects.Plan and oversee daily production to meet cooking demands, ensuring correct product rotation (FIFO).Monitor all Critical Control Points (CCPs) and report issues promptly to the quality department.Manage QR and PR records, including QR16/Visunet systems, and ensure accurate data transfer from cook sheets.Conduct CCP2B2C checks for spiral 1 and 2 outfeeds and maintain accurate records.Liaise with other departments regarding temperatures, schedules, trolleys, and equipment usage.Oversee spiral 1 and 2 operations, oven racks, metal detectors, and freezer setups, including defrosting, washing, and night hold cycles.Ensure correct labelling on Season terminals and proper spacing between cooks.Report team issues to supervisors and coordinate with Maintenance on equipment faults or breakages.Contribute to continuous improvement (C.I.) projects and process enhancements.Provide SOP training, mentor and develop staff, and address performance issues.Conduct advance setup of lines and freezers and manage changeover sanitation and timing.Attend daily shift meetings and report KPI results to teams, addressing operational issues.Control raw material 'Use By' dates and ensure adherence to production and labelling standards.Respond to reasonable supervisor and management requests.The Ideal CandidateSafeguarding the safety of all team members by ensuring the Health and Safety guidelines are strictly adhered to.Ensure that the product produced in their area is of the highest quality and that no sub-standard product leaves their areaSupervise, coach and develop a team of operators.Responsible for meeting production plans and schedulesSupport the Supervisor in his/her roleWhy Sofina Foods?Join a company where innovation, sustainability, and customer satisfaction drive everything we do.
