Social Care Manager/Residential Co-OrdinatorDublin Residential Service Permanent Full Time - (DUBRESCOORD2025) Liffey Services provides a network of education, training, employment, respite and community living supports to children and adults with intellectual disabilities in South, Southwest Dublin and North Kildare areas. Applications are invited for the Social Care Manager position in the Dublin Residential Services.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Residential Services Program Manager and a team of Supervisors in the management and progression of high standards of quality care provision in community residential services that enable each individual to reach their full potential in accordance with the principles of national policy. This is a critical leadership position and offers potential candidates a unique experience and an opportunity to work in a changing, dynamic and exciting environment.
The successful candidate may be expected to be PIC for a Designated Centre.
Requirements: A relevant third level qualification in the area of Health, Social Care at Level QQI L8 or above. Minimum of two years management experience and the ability to demonstrate excellent leadership and management skills. An ability to support, mentor and lead staff teams. A clear vision and implementation strategy for the future of adults in residential settings in line with HIQA standards and other relevant national policy frameworks. Possess excellent communication, interpersonal, organisational and ICT skills. Knowledge and experience in Person Centered Planning in line with the HSE National Framework. Ability to collate, review and analyze data e.g.
Person Directed Plans, Safeguarding, Rights, NIMS, Health & Safety etc. Knowledge and experience in change management strategies. A Third Level Management Qualification is advantageous. A full clean Driver's License and willingness to drive as part of the role is essential.
