Your new company is a medium-sized practice based in Kilkenny. With a team of 10 highly qualified staff, they offer a comprehensive range of accountancy and consultation services. Your new role
1. Handle client-specific responsibilities, including managing VAT, PAYE, income tax, and corporation tax returns, and filing these returns via the ROS online system and the Companies Registration Office.
2. Assist with Revenue audits and respond to day-to-day client enquiries.
3. Manage daily tasks such as RCT contracts, notifications, payments, and reconciliations.
4. Supervise bookkeeping activities, ensuring they are accurately prepared and organised for monthly account preparation up to Trial Balance.
5. Work closely with bookkeepers to ensure the accuracy of bookkeeping tasks.
6. Provide management with feedback and analysis through ad hoc reporting and data analysis.
7. Perform administrative duties, including making payments on ROS and offering general office management support.
8. Report to the Practice Manager, ensuring all financial information is ready for senior accountants to prepare financial statements.
What you'll need to succeed
1. Qualified Practice Accountant but open to QBE.
2. At least 2/3 years of experience in an accountancy practice in Ireland.
3. Proficiency in using Sage One Cloud System.
4. Experience using ROS online system and the Companies Registration Office for filings.
5. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
6. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
7. Proficiency in Excel and Word.
What you'll get in return
1. Salary €50,000 - €60,000 DOE.
