Gleoite Homes are recruiting a Plasterer & Skimmer to work on various projects in Galway and in our Manufacturing Facility in Kilchreest. Responsibilities Preparing and mixing different types of raw materials to get the plaster ready Applying the plaster to the surface being worked on (inside walls, ceilings, outside walls) Carrying out solid plastering as well as applying wet finishes Fitting internal plasterboards, also referred to as dry lining or wallboard. Installing pebble-dash or sand, on outside walls for protection Realising repairs and renovations RequirementsRequirements: Minimum 2 years of experience Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations Physical fitness and ability to work at heights Good communication skills and ability to work in a team Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as required Benefits Location:Site-based, with the majority of work in Galway City and County Pay Rate:€20 per hour Hours:40-hour paid week Monday to Friday, 8:00 16:30 Overtime and Saturday work available What We Offer: Competitive hourly rate Consistent on-site work in Galway Opportunities for overtime to boost earnings Be part of a professional, fast-growing modular construction company
