We are delighted to partner exclusively with an international Private Equity firm to appoint an Investment Director to its Dublin based Investment team. THE ROLE:
1. Build an investable transaction pipeline of direct private equity investments into energy transition businesses
2. Develop a coordinated origination strategy based on the identified investable transaction pipeline
3. Ability to execute transactions that are approved by Investment Committee by managing internal execution team, external advisors, and counterparties
4. Monitoring ongoing performance of each investee companies to ensure delivery against target growth ambition approved by Investment Committee
5. Present regular Investment Committee approval and update papers, as well as periodic reports to all key stakeholders on performance
Requirements
6. A minimum of 10 years' prior relevant experience
7. Experience in originating, structuring and executing direct private equity investment into companies
8. Ability to form enduring relationships within the business and with investors and investees
9. Strong interpersonal skills, be able to build rapport quickly and develop long-term business relationships
10. A resilient character with the ability to operate optimally within a fast-paced, private equity-backed environment
