Job Description
As a Learning and Development Lead, you will be responsible for designing and implementing impactful training programs that drive business growth and employee development. You will work closely with senior leadership to develop and execute learning and development strategies that meet the evolving needs of the workforce.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in training and development, with experience in developing and registering course materials with Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI). They will also have proven experience in delivering QQI-accredited courses at a Level 5 or higher, or equivalent accredited programs.
You will lead a team of learning and development professionals and collaborate with hiring managers to understand department learning and development needs. You will create and implement comprehensive learning and development programs for employees at all levels of the organization, ensuring compliance with labour laws and company policies.
Key responsibilities include:
* Developing and implementing a Learning and Development strategy that aligns with organizational objectives and supports growth, recruitment, and employee development.
* Leading a team of learning and development professionals and collaborating with senior leadership to drive L&D initiatives.
* Oversseeing the performance and effectiveness of the LDU, ensuring continuous improvement in processes and outcomes.
* Building strong relationships with hiring managers to understand department learning and development needs and develop responsive learning and development plans.
