This includes grid infrastructure, battery storage systems, and emerging grid-supporting technologies. The role bridges technical, commercial, and project delivery functions to ensure successful execution aligned with organisational strategy.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Coordination & DeliverySupport end-to-end delivery of renewable energy infrastructure including grid, civil works, and technology componentsCoordinate project schedules, milestones, and risk registersPrepare execution plans, status reports, and progress dashboardsManage interfaces between development, technical, and construction teamsCommercial & Financial ManagementAssist in developing and maintaining project budgets, forecasts, and commercial modelsSupport procurement activities including RFPs, tender evaluations, and contract managementTrack supplier performance and commercial risksConduct cost-benefit analyses for infrastructure upgrades and technology adoptionInfrastructure & Technology FocusSupport delivery of grid connection infrastructure (substations, cabling, civil works)Liaise with grid operators and technical consultants (e.g., ESB Networks, EirGrid)Evaluate and implement digital technologies for project optimisationContribute to sustainability initiatives including smart grid integration and battery storageStakeholder & Cross-Functional CollaborationCollaborate with internal teams including Engineering, Finance, Legal, Development, and ITMaintain communication with contractors, consultants, vendors, and regulatory bodiesPrepare management reports and stakeholder presentationsGovernance & ComplianceEnsure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standardsMaintain accurate project documentation and support governance processesParticipate in performance management to achieve team and individual objectivesQualifications & ExperienceThird-level degree (minimum 2:1) in Engineering, Business, Finance, Economics, or related field1–3 years' experience in project coordination, infrastructure delivery, or commercial support (preferably in renewable energy, utilities, or construction)Skills & AttributesStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesProficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with data analysis or visualisation tools is a plusExposure to energy infrastructure (e.g., substations, grid connections, battery storage) desirableInterest in energy technology, digital systems, and data management toolsFamiliarity with project management methodologies (PRINCE2, PMP, Agile) beneficialA competitive benefits package is on offer as is hybrid working.
