As a core member of our Private Equity Fund Accounting group, you will work alongside highly accomplished professionals delivering award-winning services to some of the most recognised and prestigious clients in the PE industry.
Responsibilities
As a PE Accounting Manager, you will:
Lead and mentor a team of supervisors and accounting specialists, supporting their development and training
Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on PE client structures and accounting processes
Manage client deliverables (SLAs) and ensure team performance meets expectations
Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs)
Oversee the preparation and review of monthly/quarterly reporting packs
Manage client capital activity processing, including calls, distributions, and transfers
Review and prepare management fee, waterfall, and carry calculations
Prepare accounts and/or financial statements for complex PE structures
Participate in local and global projects to improve processes and deliverables
Regularly engage with your team and manager on individual and team goals
Conduct performance reviews and support continuous team development
Maintain strong client relationships through regular communication
Qualifications & Skills
5+ years’ experience in accounting operations or practice
3+ years’ experience in Private Equity (desirable)
Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple deliverables, stakeholders, and deadlines effectively
Solid understanding of the financial services industry and a keen interest in ongoing learning
