Post Summary: We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Project Manager to lead a team of internal projects managers and external consultants, to be built up in numbers over time as business cases permit.
The person will also perform project management duties on several medium scale projects.
This is a critical role within the directorate and effectively acts as the bridge between the minor works projects undertaken by Facilities & Services and the larger projects managed by Capital Projects and Planning.
Medium capital projects are typically those with a value range between €50,000 and €6,000,000 and are characterised by a moderate degree of scale, complexity and strategic impact.
This high visibility role requires highly developed professional, strategic, operational, cost, contract and project management skills to deliver the Universitys ongoing medium capital development programme.
The role involves coordinating multiple stakeholders, managing budgets and timelines, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and University goals.
The successful candidate will bring expertise in project management and an interest in heritage building conservation.
Post status: Permanent Contract Hours of Post: 35 hours per week Salary: This appointment will be made on the Administrative 1 (Points 1-3), Salary Scale (€70,240 - €90,865 per annum) at a point in line with current Government pay policy.
