The Role
As a GWO Instructor & Course Developer, you’ll do far more than teach — you’ll help design the future of safety and skills training.
* Deliver GWO-approved courses such as Working at Heights, Fire Awareness, First Aid, and more.
* Create and develop engaging course content that blends practical know-how with cutting-edge training methods.
* Innovate and improve courses across GWO, OPITO, and other maritime programmes to keep them fresh and industry-leading.
* Lead by example on safety, quality, and sustainability every day.
Must-haves / What We’re Looking For
* Natural communication and presentation skills—you enjoy leading a class and making complex things clear.
* A flair for teaching and course development.
* A strong commitment to safety and quality.
Nice-to-haves (but Not Essential)
* GWO Instructor certification.
* Experience in offshore or onshore wind, maritime, or renewables.
* Auditing or quality management know-how (ISO, GWO, OPITO).
* First aid or health & safety qualifications.
