We’re on the hunt for a General Manager to lead a thriving, high-volume hospitality business in County Carlow. With capacity for over 3,000 guests, a dynamic team of 150+, and a long-established reputation for excellence, this is a rare opportunity to put your stamp on a venue that’s always in the spotlight.
As General Manager, you’ll be at the heart of day-to-day operations—driving performance, leading people, and delivering unforgettable customer experiences. You’ll have the backing of experienced departmental leaders.
Location: Co. Carlow, Ireland
Salary: €80,000+ (Depending on experience)

Your focus will include:
* Leading and inspiring a large team across Front of House, Back of House, and Duty Management.
* Overseeing rosters, scheduling, and operational logistics.
* Partnering with chefs and internal departments to align service and product delivery.
* Championing a culture of excellence and accountability on the floor—especially during peak trading times.
* Driving food & beverage performance and innovating guest experience initiatives.
* Handling staffing challenges with creativity and decisiveness.
* Signing off on wages and managing budgets with commercial awareness.
Experience:
* Proven experience as a General Manager in a fast-paced, high-volume hospitality environment.
* A strong track record in leading large teams (150+), developing people, and fostering a positive team culture.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
* Confidence in rostering, cost control, and performance metrics.
* A hands-on leadership style—you’re on the floor when it matters most.
* A passion for guest satisfaction and high standards.
Working Environment:
* This is a dynamic, customer-facing leadership role within a high-energy hospitality setting. As such, availability during evenings, weekends, early mornings, and bank holidays will be essential to ensure smooth operations and a strong management presence during peak trading periods.
