Service Desk Analyst
Our Dublin-based client, represented by Fruition Group Ireland, is looking for a Service Desk Analyst to join their IT team. The position is with a well-established company with a strong brand name and market reputation.
Responsibilities
* Working with the Service Desk Lead for IT service operations and processes such as Incident Management, Service Request Fulfillment, and Configuration Management.
* Meet service level targets for the response and resolution SLAs for the Service Desk.
* Install, configure, and troubleshoot IT equipment, software and hardware.
* Respond to user queries via email, phone and in person in a timely and fast manner.
* Engage with different IT teams for incidents and resolutions.
* Escalate incidents per the escalation procedure and SLAs.
* Coordinate with service providers and business users for incidents and problems requiring tests and prompt resolutions.
* Handle floor calls from users and provide remote support for work-from-home users.
* Perform user onboarding and off-boarding activities.
Role Requirements
* An ITIL qualification is desirable but not required.
* Basic knowledge of user and Active Directory administration in Windows.
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft-based operating systems and Office 365.
* Relevant work experience in a similar IT environment with at least two years’ experience.
* Familiarity with ITIL environment and ITSM tools (HP ALM).
* Technical skills include Windows 10, Active Directory, basic MS Server, and Citrix.
* Office 365 (email, Teams, SharePoint, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
* The ability to answer laptop, iPhone, and printer related queries for OS and hardware issues.
