Quantity Surveyor
to join their commercial team at their Head Office in
Balbriggan, Co. Dublin.

Responsibilities:
General:
* Analyse sub-contract agreements with main contractors
* Carry out commercial duties including budgeting, measurement, procurement, and drafting sub-contract agreements
* Prepare commercial reports for internal and external review
* Demonstrate strong understanding of various construction contract types
* Contribute positively and proactively to the team
Data management:
* Maintain comprehensive project records
* Prepare and present accurate budgets
* Produce detailed commercial reports for all project aspects
* Deliver all internal and external reporting on time
Contract management:
* Advise the project team on contractual matters and administer sub-contract agreements
* Carry out monthly interim valuations for main contractors
* Identify risks and opportunities within sub-contracts
* Manage contractual matters with the supply chain
* Understand bonds, guarantees, warranties, and insurance requirements
* Working knowledge of the Construction Contracts Act 2013
Construction Technology:
* Interpret 3D models, complex drawings, and specifications
* Analyse costs, compare to budgets, and report promptly
* Demonstrate strong understanding of construction technologies
Requirements:
* An accredited course by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) or the Chartered Institution of Engineers (IEI)
* Excellent communication skills.
* Analytical thinker with demonstrated problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work well under pressure, prioritise and plan effectively within a strict deadline environment.
* Minimum 5 years' experience operating in a similar role.
* Excellent computer literacy.
