Job Opportunity: Leadership in Nursing
This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a skilled nurse to take on a leadership role in a healthcare service in Co Roscommon.
The ideal candidate will possess a relevant degree in Nursing, valid NMBI registration, and at least 3 years of management or supervisory experience in health or social care.
* Assume responsibility for shift management when on duty in the service.
* Contribute to the provision of direct care to individuals, adhering to established care plans, protocols, and procedures.
* Support the assessment of individual needs and development of tailored care plans.
In addition to clinical expertise and experience, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Providing training and orientation to new care team members.
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of care plans, assessments, and other relevant records.
* Implementing quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality of care services provided.
The successful candidate will be a Registered Nurse (NMBI registered) with at least 3 years' management experience, preferably having worked with people with intellectual disabilities. They will work autonomously and with initiative, assuming responsibility for shift management and contributing to the provision of direct care to individuals.
