Overview
We are currently partnering with a High-Growth Engineering & Construction business based in Tipperary (Nenagh) that has grown significantly over the past few years and has a strong pipeline of projects domestically and across Europe.
This newly created role will take full ownership of the Finance Function, currently being managed in-house and work closely with the MD on strategic aspects of the business as they continue to grow.
The role will ideally suit someone who wants to get a hands on role in a fast growing company where they can take full ownership of a Finance function while also providing commercial insights to the MD & Senior Leadership.
Responsibilities
Managing the day-to-day finance function
Preparation of monthly management accounts including KPI reports for directors
Completion of annual budgets & forecasts
Reviewing project costing, margins and profitability
Supporting tenders, pricing and commercial decisions
Strengthening financial controls and systems as the business grows
Managing Cashflow, Banking and VAT returns
Oversee AP, AR & Payroll
Year-end Audit
Ongoing development and review internal controls and processes
Qualifications
Qualified Accountant
Experience managing Finance Function in a SME/Growing Business
Strong commercial mindset and cashflow management experience
Experience in engineering, construction, manufacturing, or other project-based environments would be a beneficial
