Electromechanical Specialist
This is a hands-on role that requires strong fault-finding skills and experience with complex mechanical, electrical systems. You will be working on state-of-the-art automation systems in a highly regulated industry with opportunities to contribute to the design, testing, installation, and servicing of advanced equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform low voltage cable pulling, terminations, labelling, including red-lining drawings for updates.
* Cary out basic mechanical fitting tasks such as cutting, grinding, assembly.
* Troubleshoot and resolve faults across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, PLC-controlled systems.
* Support in-house testing, programming adjustments, configuration of new automated systems.
* Collaborate with the design team on system redesigns, continuous improvement initiatives.
* Work in a highly regulated environment, maintaining accurate documentation ensuring compliance with safety, quality environmental standards.
* Assist with installation commissioning validation of systems at client sites.
* Provide ongoing service support maintenance after-sales assistance to existing customers.
Requirements:
* A Level 6 or higher qualification in Mechanical Electrical Electronic Mechatronics Automation Engineering related discipline.
* Minimum of one year of hands-on experience working with automation systems ideally within medical device or similarly regulated industry.
* Proven ability in the assembly maintenance troubleshooting of automated systems involving electrical mechanical pneumatic components.
* Strong ability to read interpret electrical mechanical schematics.
* Experience working with PLC-based control systems Allen Bradley Siemens is a strong advantage.
* Experience with robotics sensors vision systems is a plus.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
* Strong written verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work independently collaboratively within a team environment.
* Willingsness to travel to client sites including occasional international travel.
