Duties
This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
* Communication and interpersonal skills will be developed.
* Represent Roma person on local and regional committees, working groups, services etc.
* Build the capacity of Roma person to engage with services, training and supports.
* Build knowledge of, and experience in, person rights issues, domestic and sexual violence, Primary Health Care, community development, and other relevant fields with a focus on improving the quality of life of Roma.
* Identify and record barriers and issues for Roma.
* Organise and deliver information and training sessions for local service providers on antiracism and discrimination, and good practice when working with Roma.
* Advocate/speak on behalf of Roma.
* Have experience in organizing and delivering presentations and training sessions.
* Be able to show empathy, dignity and respect towards people who experience domestic and sexual violence.
* To promote good mental health.
