Data Engineer Role at Prudential Annuities Distributors PAD
We're seeking a skilled data engineer to join our Technology Solutions Group. This role will involve designing and developing robust data pipelines using Python and Java, alongside building scalable APIs to expose data services.
As a data engineer, you'll translate business requirements into efficient, high-quality, and scalable data platforms. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system end-to-end and provide Level-3 support for production incidents.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and develop robust data pipelines using Python and Java

Requirements:
* 3+ years of experience developing software applications with a primary focus on Java or Python
* Experience in writing and testing scalable code, debugging programs, and integrating applications with third-party web services
* Fluent in relational database experience in Microsoft SQL server
* Knowledge of Java enterprise development using Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and REST APIs is a plus
* Knowledge of building cloud-based applications on AWS or Azure
